Seekseekqua is the original name of Mt. Jefferson, thankfully indigenous people still "own" this side of the mountain. I have snowboarded from the top, camped on its flanks, shared my heart with its energy, and shot a multitude of angles for over 20 years. Every time I visit or view Seekseekqua I feel for what the White Man has done and is still doing to indigenous people.
