THE CLIFF

I've shot professional video of snowboarding and skiing for over 20 years. That might catch you by surprise because of this website, but it's true. I've traveled from Europe to Alaska shooting the "best" snow athletes in the world. I've flown in helicopters and life flighted injured athletes. I've been in avalanches and built some of the wildest jumps my mind could imagine. The image before you is a special for one for many reasons. First off, the location is a 15 minute hike from the parking lot. So many of my adventures involve hours upon hours of snowmobiling or human powered travel, this one didn't. Second, the snowboarder, Will Dennis, is a dear friend. Third, look at how big this S#$T IS! Fourth, the location is in my backyard so to speak. Although I love traveling, there is a special connection to the land when you live near it. I put "The Cliff" image up for all the aforementioned reasons, but also because it's a spectacular shot, showing what humans are capable of.
