ELECTRIC SNOWY EVENING

Pete Alport Photography

NIGHTDRAKEPARK24X16P

The ground was dry when I got home from the mountains and I began my evening rituals; drying out my gear, charging batteries, shoving some sort of semblance of dinner into my mouth, uploading photos/video from the day, and begin the editing process. As I was finishing up editing around 10pm, the snow began to fall extremely hard. Right on cue I was mesmerized by the big, fat flakes outside my window, but it stopped after 20-minutes, leaving everything dusted in crisp white coat. I grabbed my camera, walked downtown and shot a series of windless, Winter photos. Here is one of them. The clouds look electrifying.
